One of my favorite things to do as an adult at Walt Disney World is eat. 9 times out of 10, the food is above and beyond my wildest expectations, but I have a feeling that I’m about to get spoiled at this year’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. I’ve been scouring the website over the past few weeks, and it’s taken all my willpower not to start salivating right here at my computer. Loaded mac ‘n’ cheese with Nueske’s pepper bacon, cheddar cheese, peppers and green onions, anyone? YUM! I mean, really, can we just go now, please? Soon!5 Things to Enjoy at Epcot's International Food & Wine FestivalHere’s my list of what I’m really looking forward to experiencing at this year’s festival, which runs August 31-November 13.

5. The Festival CenterBlue Line Monorail at Epcot

This will be my first time visiting Walt Disney World during the Food & Wine Festival, and I cannot wait to check out the Festival Center. From the free seminars to the merchandise to the Intermissions Cafe, I could probably spend all day in there if I’m not careful! I cannot wait to pick up a few items commemorating the festival, and I know my girls are excited to participate in the Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak adventure, so this is a must-do for our party.

4. Eat to the Beat Concert Series

A free concert after noshing on some great food and beverage pairings? Sign me up! While my family is visiting Walt Disney World, we’ll get the chance to hear either Smash Mouth (ahh, the high school nostalgia) or The Pointer Sisters (or maybe both if we’re lucky). Check out this link to see who the rest of the acts will be during this free concert series!

3. New ExperiencesEpcot CenterIn addition to the highly sought after marketplace “snacks,” there will be some new offerings this year. The Rockin’ Burger Block Party, Beverage Bootcamp, and Tasting Sampler (all of which require a separate fee) are just a few of the new options to try among others. Whether you’re interesting in obtaining new knowledge in the food and beverage pairings arena or simply want to get reserved seating at one of the Eat to the Beat concerts, these new options are an exciting edition to an already amazing line-up! My husband and I are seriously considering the Tasting Sampler package, so we’ll let you know how it went when we get back!

2. Favorite Celebrity Chefs

The hosts of the ABC television series The Chew will be filming LIVE at Walt Disney World! While I did not sign up to go to their taping, here’s hoping I’ll run into Clinton Kelly at some point while he’s filming (he’s been a favorite of mine since his time on What Not to Wear). I’m also excited about the possibility of seeing other amazing chefs that I love watching every day on the Food Network! Big names like Alex Guarnaschelli, Amanda Freitag, and Robert Irvine will be appearing throughout the festival, and I would love to watch them work their magic in the kitchens!

1. THE FOODepcot food and wine festivalYeah, you knew that one was coming, right? I mean, really. It’s the Food & Wine festival, for goodness sake. How could I not be excited about the food? I’m eager to try all there is to offer…I just hope I have enough room in my belly to try most of it!

Have you ever been to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival? Anything I left off my list that needs to get on there, pronto? Leave me a comment, and I’ll add it to my list!
