Florida Residents Have Options

Florida residents have the choice of 5 different levels of annual passholder passes versus non-Florida residents which only have two. You can pick which one works best for you and your family. We do get discounted rates and proof of Florida residency is required. Please make sure you really read through the benefits of each one because you don’t want to be stuck with an annual pass with blackout dates during the times you are most likely to go. All plans have standard parking included, complimentary MagicBands and discounts.

Payment Plan

Disney has recently rolled out their 12 month payment plan. You will be required to make a down payment then the remaining balance will be split into 12 monthly payments. You can go to Disney whenever you want. My family and I wake up some weekends and say, “Hey, let’s go to Disney!” If the park is too crowded that day, you can leave and come back another time.

PhotoPass Benefits

Have you ever wished you had taken more pictures or felt like your camera was just pain to carry around? Disney simplifies that for all guests with their PhotoPass picture stations and attraction photos. Three out of the five AP passes offer unlimited picture downloads and you have up to one year before each picture expires. You will be reminded when you are getting close to your expiration date, so don’t worry about forgetting.Florida resident Disney annual passholders have great benefits.


Yes, that’s right! There are even more discounts! Flash that beautiful AP card with your ID, and you’ll open the door to all kind of possibilities. There is a small disclaimer that they can change at any time, but you are usually notified in advance. A quick overview as it stands right now: passholders receive 20% off Disney merchandise and 10% off food and nonalcoholic beverages at select table-service restaurants. They also have a lot of fun perks going on between now and September 30, 2017 to commemorate their 45th Anniversary. One of them is Special Anniversary Dining Benefits. 45 restaurants were selected to give a discount of 20% off food and nonalcoholic beverages.

Other Benefits

There are so many that I didn’t even know existed until I started researching! Every park has an AP entrance to make your entry as quick and easy as possible. Special WDW Resort reservation deals are available throughout the year. Sometimes they are better than the current Florida resident deals. You have the benefit of having both options. Passholders are notified of special events and given the opportunity to buy your tickets before the general public at a discounted rate. Discounts are also available on sports, recreation, spa services, select tours and experiences, and much, much more.Disney Passholders have special entrances.
